The Livingston/Overton County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce Zach Stephens as its new President & CEO, and members, elected officials, and community partners gathered last week at a reception to welcome him and celebrate the transition in leadership.

Stephens, a native of the Upper Cumberland with deep roots in Livingston, brings to the role a background in strategic communications and public affairs. Since 2018 he has operated ZDStephens Company, a consulting practice serving elected officials, campaigns, and organizations across the Southeast, and he attended Tennessee Tech University.

As President & CEO, Stephens will lead the Chamber's work in economic development, tourism, workforce development, small business support, and government advocacy on behalf of Livingston and Overton County.

"This is home, and there is no place I would rather be doing this work," Stephens said. "Overton County has every asset it needs to grow, from a historic downtown and one of the finest lakes in the country to businesses and people who believe in this place. My job is to bring the right partners, strategies, and resources together so that our community can compete for the jobs, investment, and opportunity it deserves."
